The Lac St Louis tigers host the Montreal National today at 16h00 at the Complexe Sportif Saint Raphael in Ile Bizard. The Nationals come into this game with a 2-5-3 record in the round robin tournament and an overall record of 17-27-5 includng a semi-final finish in the Drummondville tournament in November.
"Despite the record, this is a well coached team and they will be prepared to play against us when the puck drops", says Tigers General Manager Chris Sides." In the two encounters we have had with them this season, we defeated them 4-2 and they beat us 2-1. "
The Tigers are presently tied in second place five points behind the Filon de Malartic in the round robin. The Filon won the league title.
" We need all the points we can get. We have a game in hand but they (Filon de Malartic) have five points more than we do, we have our work to do, for sure ," said Sides.
