The Lac St Louis Tigers have reached to an old and trusted friend, Dan D'Astoli, to handle the head coaching duties during the three game suspension of coach Sam Ghilarducci.
"Dan comes to us with a history of success. His track record with teams and players is well recognized and we expect that Dan will help get the guys through this rough patch, " said Chris Sides General Manager of the Tigers.
The Tigers have one league game remaining, the playoffs which are single elimination contests, and then the dodge cup. The Tigers are missing six regulars and a coach for their next game.
" The Tigers face a challenge, there is no doubt. But, they are a bunch of quality kids, they have displayed the character that top teams have, they have shown that all year and now they will need to show it again..., said Sides. " And, the addition of Dan D'Astoli, a fresh voice, a new energy...I expect the boys will do the new coach proud."
The Tigers visit the Seigneurs de Mille Iles Saturday March 21 at 18h00 at the Rosemere Arena.
