Mike Lemieux, Simon Darveau, Alex Cote, Connor Gagnon with support from Corey Hale and Derek Andrews...these are the Tigers who suited up for the Lac St Louis Lions for this past season and they all made significant contributions.
" Simon made his presence felt with the team he was at the Lions. He is a physical guy, has a great shot and he doesn't back down from a battle. Mike is an honest worker who played an important role as an energy guy despite being hobbled by injuries through the season, " said Sides the Lac St Louis Tigers General Manager.
" Connor and Alex provided the kind of scoring that Lions needed from their top six guys. Alex is a big strong guy who can fight off a defender to get the puck off and Connor can make a contribtion in so many ways second line forward, back end powerplay guy, pk guy...Corey came up from Midget AA and played some important minutes for the Lions when they needed help on the blueline and Corey's puck moving skills were not out of place at that level," Sides went on to say.
"And imagine, Connor has another year of eligibility left at the Midget AAA level, his development should continue to rise again next year, said Sides.
