Former Tigers Captain Matthew Bissonnette has just completed his first regular season in the QMJHL with the Moncton Wildcats and the Wildcats finished first in their division with a 47-14-2-4 record.
Mathew's performance has been similar to any first year apprentice learning a trade, he has been given certain amount of ice time with certain duties and he has completed these responsibilities to the satisfaction of the management and coaching staff to warrant ice time in the upcoming playoffs.
" Matthew is a very talented player and I am certain that his experience to date will prepare him for the challenges of trying to win a berth in the Memorial Cup. Rimouski is the host, so Moncton will have to earn its spot . They face a significant challenge ahead with Drummondville, Shawinigan and Quebec...all three teams are in the CHL Top 10," said Chris Sides General manager of the Lac St Louis Tigers.
